She used the computer game unreal tournament to generate images. She took about 30 minutes of game play where around 20-25 AI characters that are in the game would run around her custom maps. She had a processing script which logged the X,Y,Z position of each bot through every second of gamepley. She also logged the co-ordinates of the position of death. Once she had enough data she took these figures to create images again using Processing.

It was this project that made me think that maybe I could use the same methods but using computer games data to generate music.
